Plein air painting is a french term that refers to the practice of painting a landscape picture out-of-doors. And often in one setting.
By nature, plein air paintings are usually somewhat impressionistic, or more suggestive than interpretive. At best they capture the moment of inspiration while inviting the viewer's participation to fill in the details.

Paintings are sold and shipped unframed to facilitate safer shipping. A 14 day return policy of a full refund is included. All sales are shipped within 1-3 days. No shipping charges if mailed within the continental United States.
